flooring is a popular solution, often less costly due to the smaller sections
used. This type of floor can be resanded many times, making it particularly
long-lived. A woodblock-paved floor can take even heavier loads and is also a
treat for the eye. Woodblock flooring consists of blocks of solid wood at least
3 cm thick, positioned upright so that the cross-sectionally cut edges, with
visible annual rings, are joined to form the floor surface.
