PurSolid

Oiling
PurSolid Hard oil No. 123 is the right product for oiled wooden surfaces in the kitchen and other living areas. It gives the wood a natural touch and an intensive honey hue. For worktops exposed to much tear and wear, e.g. in the kitchen, we recommend our highly resistant Worktop oil No. 108 that was especially developed for this purpose.

For a high quality surface, the wood should first be wetted, then finely sanded in the direction of the grain and brushed off. Apply oil thin and evenly with a roller or trowel. After 10 minutes, remove or rub in with a cloth excess product that has not yet penetrated. Let dry for 24 hours. For a coloured treatment, the oil can be tinted with Auro Colour concentrates No. 150, available in 8 basis colour tones.

Waxing
A final application of  PurSolid Hard wax No. 171 results in a protective layer that further enhances the wearing qualities, fine appearance and feel of the wood surface. Apply the wax in a very thin layer using a root-ball cloth and polish in still soft state.

After a further 24 hours of drying time, you may cautiously begin to use the surface. However, avoid exposure to moisture and mechanical loads during the next 4 weeks. The result is a resistant, natural surface with a completely solvent-free coating.
