![]() ![]() | Priming Instead of the PurSolid or Classic primers on oil basis, you can also use the mild-scented, water-based Aqua Wood primer No. 124. It is water-based and was especially developed as primer for the Auro Aqua range. The Special Primer No. 117 is available for woods rich in content such as oak, cherry and chestnut. The primer coat is applied evenly to the sanded surface. Allow to dry for 24 hours, then sand with fine sandpaper. |
![]() ![]() | Waxing The Aqua Wood primer No. 124 cannot be used alone but has to be followed by a treatment with Aqua Wood wax No. 184. Apply in a thin layer and do not polish until you have waited at least 20 minutes and at most one hour. The surface can be used after 24 hours and final hardness is reached after about 2 weeks. Please avoid exposure to moisture and mechanical loads within this period of time. |
