What you should know…On this page you will find valuable advice for your paint applications on furniture and wooden surfaces. More information can be found in the Technical data sheets or Topical sheets for each product. | |
| - Used
cleaning cloths can spontaneously ignite because of the content of drying oils.
Spread out and smooth cleaning cloths so that they can dry or store them in an
air-tight closed metal container.
- Used brushes and other tools can be cleaned with AURO Thinner No. 191. Put tools with dried paint remnants in Plant thinner and then wash out with AURO Plant soap No. 411. - Dried AURO product residues can be composted at no risk to the environment. - Edges should be painted with a ring brush before the flats are done with a roller. First paint the edges and make sure the paint has not yet dried before the bigger flats are painted. - To avoid visible overlaps paint the complete surface first in lateral direction and then lengthways. - The rim of the can stays clean if you stretch an adhesive tape over it to wipe off the paint from the brush. - If the coating includes different colour tones start with the lightest tone and apply the darkest colour as the final step. |
